Lyre;
Never trust a small harp;
they often turn out to be lyres.

Lyre is a game where you play as a bard that uses well, a lyre.  You can shoot out magical notes that affect the properties of things it hits.

It isn't a very long game but I think it's fun and I hope you do too.

[Controls]
L Shift to run, Wasd to move, Space to jump and Left click to shoot.

This is for the Community Game Jam.
The theme for the game jam was "the game is a liar".
All I saw was a pun and rolled with that.

That was an interesting approach to platformer mechanics. The subtle but solvable puzzles are fun to interact with. The art style and the music work well in providing a relaxing experience.

I do not know whether certain areas were relatively darker on purpose but I think it might be important for you to know that the second time I came across the trampoline-mushrooms, I did not see them on the ground until I saw the glowing bit in the trees right above.

Overall, the game is enjoyable. I wish there was more play-time.

Funny pun and nice art. I made it to the part pictured below. It seemed like you needed to use the tree to get to the platform, but I can't clear the gap. Though, it was cool that you have to stand on the growing tree.

I should have posted something in the game, but on the main page it tells you that you can run by holding left shift. Sorry for the inconvenience.
